JSC tests routine - Junior school certificate exam will start Nov 2. The Junior School Certificate examinations will begin on Nov 2, Dhaka education board has announced.
The board finalised the schedule for tests for the
eighth graders on Wednesday.
The exams will end on Nov 18.
All
exams will be held from 10am to 1pm, according to the schedule.
The
schedule is also available on the Dhaka education board’s website (www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd).
Class
eight students across Bangladesh have been sitting the JSC tests simultaneously
since 2010.
Last year, the tests were supposed to start from Nov 4, but
it was rescheduled to Nov 7 due to countrywide general strikes called by the
BNP-led alliance.

Altogether 20,479 candidates have been selected for viva-voce, Primary
and Mass Education Ministry PRO Rabidranath Roy said on Wednesday.
The district-wise results can be found on the ministry's website (www.dpe.gov.bd), he told bdnews24.com.
On Nov 8 last year, 7,55,668 aspirants sat for the test.
However, tests in 17 districts were held again after a ministry committee found proof of question paper leak.

The recruitment tests in these districts were held again on Apr 18 this year.
The
Directorate of Primary Education issued a circular on July 2 last year
for recruiting nearly 7,000 assistant teachers under the primary
education development programme.
These teachers will be appointed in 61 districts barring the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
